Rating Re-evaluation Policy
Last updated: 2025
Purpose of the Policy
Byldia ratings are designed to reflect long-term performance and credibility, not short-term peaks or isolated results. This policy ensures all competitive ratings remain fair, accurate, and representative of a player's current competitive level.
Eligibility for Re-evaluation
- Every registered Byldia player is eligible to submit 1 rating re-evaluation request per calendar year.
- Unused requests do not carry over to the following year.
- Requests submitted outside the allowed frequency will be automatically declined.
Conditions for Submitting a Request
A request may be submitted if the player can demonstrate:
- Significant improvement in competitive performance
- Consistent results in official or recognized tournaments
- Advancement to higher-level competitive environments
- Sustained performance over time (not isolated events)
Byldia reserves the right to reject requests that do not meet these conditions.
Evaluation Process
All re-evaluations are manually reviewed by the Byldia team. The evaluation may include:
- Tournament results and placements
- Level and credibility of competitions played
- Match statistics and performance consistency
- Competitive history recorded on Byldia
- Overall impact and reputation within the competitive scene
No automated system is used for rating changes.
Possible Outcomes
Following a review, one of the following decisions will be issued:
All decisions are final and not subject to appeal.
Transparency & Notification
- Players will be notified once the evaluation is completed.
- Byldia does not disclose internal scoring formulas or evaluation weights.
- Detailed justifications are not guaranteed for every decision.
Automatic Rating Conversion
Byldia automatically calculates a competitive cote for each player based on their in-game ranks across connected game accounts:
- Each game's rank system is mapped to an equivalent Byldia tier (Novice → Legend).
- Example: Valorant Radiant or Fortnite Unreal convert to the Legend tier.
- Example: Valorant Diamond or CS2 Global Elite convert to the Master tier.
- A player's overall Byldia rating is the average of their cotes across all connected games.
- This automatic conversion is recalculated when a player connects or updates a game account.
The automatic system serves as a baseline — the Byldia team may adjust ratings through manual review.
Immortal Rank — Admin-Only Attribution
The Immortal tier is the highest possible Byldia rating and is subject to strict restrictions:
- Immortal can never be assigned automatically, regardless of in-game ranks.
- It is exclusively granted by Byldia administrators following a thorough manual evaluation.
- Criteria include exceptional tournament results, elite-level competitive pedigree, and recognized standing in the global esports scene.
- A re-evaluation request alone does not guarantee consideration for Immortal status.
Byldia reserves full discretion over Immortal attributions. No formal process guarantees this tier.
System Integrity & Abuse Prevention
- Rating manipulation attempts will result in request denial.
- False or misleading information may lead to penalties or account action.
- Byldia reserves the right to suspend re-evaluation privileges if abuse is detected.
Byldia Authority
Byldia maintains full authority over rating definitions, evaluation criteria, and final decisions. This policy may be updated at any time to maintain fairness and competitive integrity.
Acceptance of Policy
By submitting a re-evaluation request, the player acknowledges and accepts this policy in full.
Byldia Commitment
Byldia is committed to building a credible, respected, and professional competitive identity system trusted by players, teams, and tournament organizers worldwide.
